HB3693 requires governmental entities (including municipalities) to publish consumption and payment information for various utility services used by the entity annually.

The City of Gainesville purchases natural gas from Atmos Energy. In the Calendar Year 2022, the City purchased a total of 24,937 cubic feet (CCF) of natural gas.

The City purchases electricity from Reliant Energy, TXU, and PenTex Electric Cooperative. In the Calendar Year 2022, the City purchased a total of 1,203,815 kilowatt hours (kwh) from Reliant Energy, 9,110,118 kilowatt hours (kwh) from TXU, and 452,085 kilowatt hours (kwh) from PenTex Electric Cooperative.

The City purchases water from the City of Gainesville. In Calendar Year 2022, the City purchased a total of 10,299,659 gallons of water.

The total cost of natural gas, electricity, and water purchased by the City in the Calendar Year 2022 is $957,594.56.
