Why did you join FBZS?: I attended Zoobilee in October of 2008 and immediately asked Nancy Moore how I could get involved with the zoo… by January 2009, I was on the board. I have loved assisting in bringing new exhibits and giving back to the community!
What is your favorite FBZS Event? Zoobilee! There is no other event in Cooke County like our Zoobilee Fundraiser. We work hard to plan a fun night of entertainment for our guests - It is definitely the talk of the town! Come see for yourself; this year might be the best one yet!
What is your favorite thing about the Frank Buck Zoo?: Favorite animals – the new otters! But really my favorite thing is the size and location. I love being able to take my kids for an outing and letting them safely explore the grounds of the zoo and watch the animals play. They love to feed the goats and watch the prairie dogs. Then we venture over to the park to play, ride the train, and have a picnic before naptime!
