Red River AAZK - American Association of Zoo Keepers

Who is Red River AAZK?

American Association of Zoo Keepers is a National organization and Red River AAZK is our local chapter comprised of Frank Buck Zoo animal care staff.  Red River AAZK raises funds for select conservation projects, both locally and internationally, and for enrichment for the animals of the Frank Buck Zoo.

Conservation Spotlight

Red River AAZK is collecting donations for the Clouded Leopard Project.  The Clouded Leopard at Frank Buck Zoo, "Lauren", lives in the bamboo tunnel just before the elevated Savannah Walkway.  Clouded Leopards are from Southeast Asia and have the largest canines per body size ratio, making them a modern day Saber-toothed tiger.

STATUS:  Endangered Species
