The Gainesville Police Department SRT is a unit comprised of officers that work high-risk incidents requiring special training, tactics, and weapons. The SRT is a group of dedicated, highly trained, and motivated officers who are on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year. SRT members must be ready and prepared for a call out with only a moment's notice.
