Heritage Park South is located downtown and south of Heritage Park North. This ornamental park consists of one-half acre. Included in the park is a large bicentennial fifteen-foot star made of red, white, and blue glass. The park also consists of three picnic tables, many shrubs, bushes, trees, and sidewalks. Local citizens use this park for passive recreation purposes.
