Heritage Park North is located downtown between California and Broadway Streets and east of the Historic Santa Fe Depot. It is an ornamental park measuring 1.81 acres. It is a beautiful area featuring shrubs and flowers at the south end and trees scattered throughout. It is also the site of the City of Gainesville's static holiday light display and currently the experimental rose garden for the Cooke County Master Gardeners and the Texas Cooperative Extensive Office.
