First full weekend in May - Gainesville Main Street partners with the Gainesville Chamber Rodeo, Gainesville Parks and Recreation Department, and the Frank Buck Zoo to bring a fun filled three day event to downtown, Leonard Park, the Frank Buck Zoo and the Gainesville Rodeo Arena. Parade, downtown street dance, chuck wagon cookoff, wild west events, cattle dog exhibitions, and rodo sanctioned by the UPRA.
