Take Pride In Gainesville

Mayor Glenn Loch and the City Council are excited about the launch of a new program, Take Pride in Gainesville.

Volunteers are asking businesses to place the logo in their windows and in other noticeable places.

Many visitors come to Gainesville and see some examples of community cooperation and clean neighborhoods, but not all neighborhoods are kept up.

Mayor Loch is asking residents to do the "neighborly" thing and help each other when it comes to cleaning up neighborhoods. If someone is not physically able to keep their lots up to city specifications, offer to help them out.

City Code enforcement officers are on duty to remind residents what the city requires.

If you would like to hang a "Take Pride In Gainesville" sign in your business, please contact the Chamber of Commerce at 665-2831.

Working together, we can all make a difference!
