CONSTRUCTION STAGE:
1. Building framing
2. Plumbing rough-in and stackout
3. Rough electric
4. Gas lines and test
5. HVAC rough-in and ductwork
6. Fireplace and chimney (if so equiped). Have manufacturer's instructions available for manufactured models.
7. Wall board inspection after rough-ins are approved.
8. Brick ties
FINISH OUT AND FINAL STAGE:
1. Water and sewer taps
2. Shingles installed per manufacturers instructions.
3. Plumbing and electrical fixtures and grounds.
4. Reinforcement steel for flatwork.
5. Vacuum breakers on exterior hose bibbs.
6. Backflow device on lawn irrigation system.
7. Electrical meter base and breaker panel.
8. Plastic vent pipes to be painted or have lead shields.
9. Handicap requirements.
10.Landscaping requirements.
NOTES:
1. Any masonry or foundation work done at temperatures below 40 degrees must meet code requirements.
2. Dwellings constructed for sale to the general public must have handicap accessibility considered in plans.
3. It is the responsibility of each person or firm receiving a permit to assure that notice is given to the inspection department when work has progressed to one of the stages requiring an inspection. The work must be inspected before it is concealed.
4. A four hour minimum lead time is required for inspections.
